WOW！！ These ladies have done it again with a thriller so captivating that I could hardly put it down。 I don’t want to spoil anything for y’all so I’ll keep my book description brief and spoiler free。 I will say if you love thrillers then you probably already have this one on your TBR。 If thrillers aren’t your normal genre to read， this one is still a great book to add to your TBR because it deals with the delicacy of the human mind and that aspect is fascinating。 The book is told in multiple poi WOW！！ These ladies have done it again with a thriller so captivating that I could hardly put it down。 I don’t want to spoil anything for y’all so I’ll keep my book description brief and spoiler free。 I will say if you love thrillers then you probably already have this one on your TBR。 If thrillers aren’t your normal genre to read， this one is still a great book to add to your TBR because it deals with the delicacy of the human mind and that aspect is fascinating。 The book is told in multiple points of view and a variety of timelines。 The plot flows smoothly and it is very much a study on family attachments。Addy has lived in Philadelphia for 2 years。 She has a wonderful fiancée named Gabriel who comes from a tight knit and successful family。 But Addy has amnesia and can’t remember anything before the night 2 years ago when a kind stranger named Ed picked her up hitchhiking in New Jersey。Julian has been searching for his wife Cassandra for 2 years。 Cassandra has a 7 year old daughter that needs her mother and Julian hopes every day that his family of three can be reunited。A chance encounter at an art exhibition will change everyone’s lives forever。 。。。more

Unfortunately I was not a fan of The Stranger in the Mirror。 I did enjoy the first half of this book， especially getting to know Gabriel， Ed， and Gigi。 Even Blythe turned out to be a pretty good person， much different than I felt she was in the beginning。 My issue is with "the big reveal" and the fact that nothing has built up to it - it's like tada！ This guy's a bad guy and the book is almost over。 I skipped over - skimmed really - much of the "evil" sections because it was just so farfetched。I Unfortunately I was not a fan of The Stranger in the Mirror。 I did enjoy the first half of this book， especially getting to know Gabriel， Ed， and Gigi。 Even Blythe turned out to be a pretty good person， much different than I felt she was in the beginning。 My issue is with "the big reveal" and the fact that nothing has built up to it - it's like tada！ This guy's a bad guy and the book is almost over。 I skipped over - skimmed really - much of the "evil" sections because it was just so farfetched。It seemed like the ending cheapened the first half of the book for me。 I've read other books by these authors （writing under the Liv Constantine name） and enjoyed them， but this just wasn't the one for me。 If you like psychological thrillers that are very surprising you may enjoy this one and please don't let my review dissuade you。 It just wasn't the book for me。 Thank you to Netgalley， the publishers， and authors for providing an ARC。 All thoughts are my own。 。。。more

Two words - Absolutely addicting！！ This book has been written by the Constantine sisters under the pen name Liv Constantine。 The author duo have done an incredible job， and I can say with surety that this book is going to make it to the top of my best reads of the year。Addison has no recollection of her life prior to the last two years。 She was found wandering along a highway， and picked up by a loving family that takes her in。 Making a life when you can't remember who you are is difficult， but Two words - Absolutely addicting！！ This book has been written by the Constantine sisters under the pen name Liv Constantine。 The author duo have done an incredible job， and I can say with surety that this book is going to make it to the top of my best reads of the year。Addison has no recollection of her life prior to the last two years。 She was found wandering along a highway， and picked up by a loving family that takes her in。 Making a life when you can't remember who you are is difficult， but Addison manages to find a lovely， wealthy man and soon gets engaged。 Miles away， Julian is searching for his wife Cassandra who went missing two years ago。 He is eager to find her and bring her back to their daughter Valentina。 Are these stories interconnected or just a coincidence？After a really long time， I got to read a story that took me through a plethora of emotions - I felt nervous， excited， confused， scared and afraid。 The story is exhilarating， and written so incredibly。 I was found myself immersed in the plot， and finished this book in a single sitting。 The characters are twisted and unreliable， which in some books can get a little annoying， but when done well （like in this one） can be very riveting。 I've read a lot of amnesia stories in the past -Before I Go to Sleep and Sometimes I Lie are the ones that stand out the most， and I do believe that it is challenging to come up with a story that can stand out in this saturated genre。 But I can safely say that the author duo have outdone themselves by putting across multiple plot twists to keep you on your toes throughout this read。 I had several theories while reading this novel， I was so pleased to get them right and wrong at the same time。 The only reason I did deduct one star was because I felt that the ending did stretch believability （though I understand that this is true for nearly all books that deal with amnesia）。 I also did find a few plot holes in the story， that I wish weren't present。 Overall， I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a spicy psychological thriller - books like this are rare！ 。。。more

I first came across this author-sister-duo when someone prompted me to read “The Last Mrs。 Parrish”。 I was instantly hooked。 The Constantine sister have a way of fully developing a twist that I don’t usually see coming – and even if I do， never to the full extent they bring it。This book is no exception。 I was hooked from the beginning。 How could I not be？ A girl is wandering alone on the street， has no idea who she is or what happened to her， and for two years attempts to make a new life for her I first came across this author-sister-duo when someone prompted me to read “The Last Mrs。 Parrish”。 I was instantly hooked。 The Constantine sister have a way of fully developing a twist that I don’t usually see coming – and even if I do， never to the full extent they bring it。This book is no exception。 I was hooked from the beginning。 How could I not be？ A girl is wandering alone on the street， has no idea who she is or what happened to her， and for two years attempts to make a new life for herself with no recollection of her past。Yet halfway through， things begin to become revealed。 And yet， not even all of the secrets are known until readers get into the minds of some of the other characters。Without giving too much away， I’ll say this: I read this book in one sitting。 I didn’t want to put it down。 While I had wished for a smidge more for the ending （what can I say？ I’m a romantic）， I was enthralled and am eager to pick up another one。 If you love psychology， you’ll love this book。 。。。more

3。5 stars！Overall I enjoyed this suspenseful psychological thriller。 It’s a crazy story that’s fast paced with some WTF moments and unexpected turns throughout。 👏🏼 I love when you get to “part __” in a book and you have a jaw dropping moment because everything has changed and you’re so stunned！ 😳 Some of the actions of characters seemed a little ridiculous at times 🙄 and the main character’s flashbacks seemed to come about too easily， but it didn’t really didn’t take away from the story too much 3。5 stars！Overall I enjoyed this suspenseful psychological thriller。 It’s a crazy story that’s fast paced with some WTF moments and unexpected turns throughout。 👏🏼 I love when you get to “part __” in a book and you have a jaw dropping moment because everything has changed and you’re so stunned！ 😳 Some of the actions of characters seemed a little ridiculous at times 🙄 and the main character’s flashbacks seemed to come about too easily， but it didn’t really didn’t take away from the story too much。 （I’m thinking the more thrillers I read， the more I need to be okay with this kind of character behavior/writing）。 I liked this one and would recommend picking it up！ It’s out today！ The audio production of this book was good！ I love multiple narrators and all three in this book fit their characters well。 I definitely recommend the audio version if that’s your thing！ Thank you Harper Audio for the gifted ALC in exchange for an honest review！ 。。。more

Jeopardy Host: THE STRANGER IN THE MIRRORContestant: What is another mind blowing novel from the dynamic duo of Liv Constantine？Jeopardy Host: CORRECT！ If you wanted to know what category this was listed under on my Jeopardy quiz it was “Oh my god what the hell did I just read。” And yes， just as the contestant answered， this one was absolutely mind blowing。 I expect nothing less when I read from the Liv Constantine sisters but this one topped the cake and blows all this summer’s thrillers out of Jeopardy Host: THE STRANGER IN THE MIRRORContestant: What is another mind blowing novel from the dynamic duo of Liv Constantine？Jeopardy Host: CORRECT！ If you wanted to know what category this was listed under on my Jeopardy quiz it was “Oh my god what the hell did I just read。” And yes， just as the contestant answered， this one was absolutely mind blowing。 I expect nothing less when I read from the Liv Constantine sisters but this one topped the cake and blows all this summer’s thrillers out of the water。 Forget about it Sager and Bell， the girls are handing it to you on a silver platter right here， special ordered and ready to devour the charts。If the story of Addison， rescued on the side of the highway bleeding with amnesia doesn’t pull you in just with that concept alone， imagine when we learn about a man named Julian living in Boston who is searching for his wife Cassandra， who disappeared 2 years ago。 Hmm？ Think these two lives may converge eventually？ With with the twists and turns the story takes when we get there， you may need to pre-medicate with some dramamine。 Because friends this is one of the fastest roller coaster reads you will ever encounter taking you to an ending that will leave you spinning long after you close the book。 The Constantine’s have written a page turner that I finished in one sitting and even days later I can’t wrap my head around how they came up with such a brilliant plot。 Characters that are so realistic and likable you’re going to ask yourself: Who is lying？ Who is telling the truth？ Who do I trust？ Is any of this real？ How the heck is this going to end？ And when it does end， you may just find yourself calling your therapist for an extra visit。 This one was brilliant， and I wish I could just forget it all and read it over again， brand new， just for the experience。 Then again， maybe I don’t want to forget anything at all…。。Highly recommend this one， take it to the beach， read it on your porch， chill out by the pool with it， however you read， this is the next one you want。 。。。more

This book had so many things I love in a book， short chapters， many alternating POV and good characters。 This book kept me guessing and I really enjoyed the twist。 The only things I didn’t love was that it felt a bit drug out in Julians past POV and I found myself just wanted to get to the end。 Overall， was a good book and I’d highly recommend。

Liv never disappoints in their books - they are definitely one of my automatic reads， and this book is no exception。This is the story of Addison and Cassandra。 Addison is about to get married， but doesn’t know who she really is after having amnesia。It’s also the story of Cassandra， a mother and wife who left her family and hasn’t been seen since。In true Liv Constantine fashion， just when you think you have it figured out， there’s another twist。 I loved this book and highly recommend it！
